Santen Providing Disaster Relief to Communities Impacted by 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake

August 7, 2026, Osaka, Japan – We would like to extend our deepest condolences and sympathies to everyone impacted by the 2026 Kumamoto Earthquake, and offer our heartfelt hopes for swift recovery in the affected communities.

In consideration of the damage caused by the earthquake, Santen Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, Santen) today announced a donation of 10 million yen to support communities and aid in recovery and reconstruction efforts in the disaster-stricken areas. Santen also announced that it will implement a matching donation* program for employees. All donations will be made through the Japanese Red Cross Society.

We sincerely hope for the earliest possible recovery and reconstruction of the affected areas.

* Matching Donations are contributions that include donations from Santen employees and an equal amount contributed by the company.
